Akili Hinson is a physician entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of Juno Medical, a technology-powered doctor’s office that provides exceptional healthcare for the entire family in the neighborhoods that need it most. He is a Crain’s Notable in Healthcare, Business Insider 30 under 40 honoree, and Goldman Sachs MBA Fellow. Akili is known for his thought leadership on the intersection of placemaking, healthcare, and technology and is also a healthcare economics and payment innovation expert. Prior to founding Juno, Akili was a leader at McKinsey & Company within their healthcare practice where he enabled both public and private healthcare services clients across a range of topics, including payment innovation, value-based care delivery, and digital transformation. He is a physician by training and received a B.A. from Georgetown University, an M.D. from Cornell University, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
