Nirjhor is a serial social intrapreneur and entrepreneur in frontier markets across South and Central Asia and East Africa. Subject matter expertise and interest in water and sanitation and angel/early-stage tech investing for frontier markets and nascent ecosystems. He is currently CEO of Bangladesh Angels, the country's first angel investment network to connect innovative startups with smart capital via individual and institutional investors, with a portfolio of 50 ventures and an investor network spanning two dozen countries. He started his career in Bangladesh by helping to scale a social enterprise in urban sanitation called SWEEP, which is now in 13 cities and has received impact investments and support from the Skoll Foundation, DFID, and Unilever, among others. Nirjhor studied at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
