Doug Bouton, President & COO, joined Halo Top in January 2013 after Justin Woolverton (Founder & CEO) asked Doug to partner with him to help get Halo Top off the ground. Doug and Justin, both former or "recovering" attorneys, met in a lawyer basketball league where the competition was fierce (and supposedly above the rim). Doug oversees and manages, among other things, the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Halo Top. Prior to working with Halo Top, Doug worked as an attorney in the Corporate Department of Proskauer Rose LLP. He is admitted to practice law in California and received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2010. Doug graduated from Georgetown University, magna cum laude, in 2007 with a B.S. in Mathematics and double-majored in Theology.
