About the Presenters:

Kendall Antonelli (Zanowiak - SFS '04) and John Antonelli (MSB '04) quit their jobs on their honeymoon in pursuit of a passion with purpose that would allow them to do meaningful work side-by-side. During the midst of the recession, they opened Antonelli's Cheese Shop. In its second year of business, the mom and pop shop was named by Travel + Leisure Magazine as one of the top cheese shops in America. It has been voted "Best Artisan Food Shop" in the annual Austin Chronicle poll, as well as reader-poll voted Edible Austin local heroes the past five consecutive years. Antonelli's Cheese Shop has grown from a cut-to-order artisanal cheese, charcuterie, and pairings shop into a thriving retail business with both a storefront and e-commerce site, a wholesale program selling to roughly 175 Central Texas chefs, and an events department hosting over 200 classes and tastings per year.

John currently serves as Vice-President of the Board for the American Cheese Society, a national nonprofit, and has served as its Treasurer, as well as Chairman of the Judging and Competition Committee.

In 2016, Kendall received a Blazing Star Award from the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Texas and was featured in the Austin Business Journal as an entrepreneur to know; Kendall regularly speaks on topics of entrepreneurship, branding, and customer service. Both Kendall and John were inducted into the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers in 2015.

Kendall and John's entrepreneurial and culinary journey are made sweeter with their toddlers Everett and Elia and two adopted yellow lab mutts Lucky Day and Luna Loca.
