Are you a Georgetown alum pursuing a new business or social-impact venture?

Join us in Austin, Texas for the Inaugural Alumni Pitch Competition, hosted by the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Alliance, on April 22, 2017 during John Carroll Weekend.  A number of talented entrepreneurs will take the stage in front of a live audience to compete for a cash prize, pitching their business ideas to a panel of judges made up of successful entrepreneurs and alumni investors.  While judges confer, you will be invited to a networking reception for an opportunity to connect with fellow Georgetown alumni, Hoyapreneurs and business leaders.

Over 1,000 Hoyas will come together in Austin during John Carroll Weekend, a trademark celebration of social, cultural, and intellectual engagement. Since 1952, John Carroll Weekend has assembled the global Georgetown community - alumni, parents, and friends - to celebrate the best of Georgetown in a different city each year. What better place to launch the GEA Inaugural Pitch Competition than Austin, a center of technology, entrepreneurship, and business.

To begin your application process, please complete the form below and tell us in a few words why your company and/or idea should have the spotlight in Austin.  You will receive a confirmation email detailing next steps for submitting a 10-slide pitch deck that will complete your application.  For more details on eligibility, evaluation process and judging criteria, please scroll to the bottom of the form.
